Classic Waffles

A reliable recipe with the right balance — it takes any topping and freezes well.
Ingredients

Eggs3 pcs
Whole milk400 ml
Butter(melted)120 g
Wheat flour280 g
Baking powder2 tsp
Salt0.5 tsp
Sugar40–50
Vanilla1 tsp
Instructions
Batter

Whisk the eggs, milk, melted butter and vanilla until smooth.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

Pour the wet mixture into the dry and stir to a smooth batter — a few small lumps are fine.
Cooking

Heat the waffle iron. Spoon in the batter and cook for 4–5 minutes until golden.

Move to a rack and cool completely before freezing.
Freezing and reheating
Freeze for up to 2–3 months
Cool completely. Freeze in a single layer, then transfer to a bag, container or vacuum pack.
Reheating
Toaster, oven or air fryer — they come back crisp outside and soft inside.
