Chocolate Brownie Waffles

Ingredients

Wheat flour130 g
Cocoa powder40 g
Sugar60 g
Baking powder0.5 tsp
Baking soda0.25 tsp
Salt1 pinch
Whole milk220 ml
Eggs2 pcs
Butter(melted)60 g
Vanilla1 tsp
Chocolate chips(dark, milk or a mix)60 g
Instructions
Batter

Mix all the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

In another bowl, combine the eggs, milk, melted butter and vanilla.

Pour the wet mixture into the dry and stir until even. The batter should be like thick sour cream.

Fold in the chocolate chips.
Cooking

Cook in a hot waffle iron for 4–6 minutes — do not open it early or they will fall apart.

Cool on a rack — that is what gives them a crust.
Freezing and reheating
Freeze for up to 2–3 months
Cool completely. Freeze in a single layer, then transfer to a bag, container or vacuum pack.
Reheating
Toaster, oven or air fryer — they come back crisp outside and soft inside.
