Whole Peppers Stuffed with Pork and Cheese

The tops come off whole peppers and cheese, pieces of meat and onion go inside. The pepper roasts whole and turns into a soft sweet shell around the filling.

Ingredients

Bell pepper(large, different colours)3 pcs
Pork(cut into small cubes)500 g
Onion(cut into slivers)1 pcs
Cheese(grated)150 g
Dried herbs1 tsp
Salt1 tsp
Pepper blend0.5 tsp

Instructions

Cut the tops off the peppers and remove the seeds, keeping the walls intact.

Put grated cheese in the bottom of each pepper.

Fill them with the pieces of meat mixed with onion, season with salt, pepper and herbs.

Stand the peppers upright in the basket.

Cook at 180 °C (356 °F) for 35 minutes — the pepper slumps and the meat is cooked.

Serve with herbs, spooning out the filling together with the wall of the pepper.
