Seafood in Cream Sauce over Spaghetti
25 min
Squid rings and shrimp are covered with cream right in the basket and cook for eight minutes. The sauce comes out thick and white, served over a nest of spaghetti.
Ingredients
2 servings
Squid(cut into rings)300 g
Shrimp(peeled)250 g
Cream(20–30% fat)200 ml
Seafood seasoning1 tsp
Salt0.5 tsp
Pepper blend0.5 tsp
Spaghetti(boiled, to serve)200 g
Instructions
1
Line the basket with baking paper and lay in the squid rings.
2
Arrange the shrimp on top.
3
Pour over the cream, season with salt, pepper and the seasoning.
4
Cook at 180 °C (356 °F) for 8 minutes — no longer, or the seafood turns rubbery.
5
Coil the boiled spaghetti into a nest on the plate and spoon the seafood and sauce over it.
Tip
Eight minutes is the limit
Squid is noticeably tougher after ten: better to under-cook it and let the dish stand for a minute.
