Ciabatta with Baked Camembert and Cherry Tomatoes

The crumb is scooped out of the ciabatta, the walls are brushed with garlic oil and a whole camembert goes into the hollow. Cherry tomatoes around it burst and drip their juice straight into the bread.

Ciabatta1 pcs
Camembert(whole wheel)250 g
Cherry tomatoes200 g
Garlic(finely chopped)2 cloves
Olive oil3 tbsp
Dried herbs1 tsp
Salt1 pinch

Cut the top off the ciabatta and pull out the crumb to leave a hollow the size of the cheese.

Chop the garlic, mix it with the olive oil and brush the bread inside and out.

Set the camembert into the hollow and score the top in a shallow criss-cross.

Scatter the cherry tomatoes around the bread, season everything with salt and herbs.

Cook at 180 °C (356 °F) for 10 minutes — the cheese should spread inside the crust.

Serve right away: tear off the bread and dip it in the cheese along with the tomatoes.
