Camembert with Pear, Honey and Nuts

30 min

The camembert is scored in a criss-cross, drizzled with honey and baked surrounded by pear slices. Served with baguette toasts and chopped nuts.

Ingredients

4 servings
Camembert(whole wheel)250 g
Pear(cut into wedges)2 pcs
Honey2 tbsp
Walnuts(chopped)40 g
Almond(chopped)30 g
Baguette(sliced)0.5 pcs

Instructions

1
Line the basket with baking paper, set the camembert in the centre and score the rind in a criss-cross.
2
Arrange the pear wedges around it and drizzle the cheese with honey.
3
Cook at 180 °C (356 °F) for 12 minutes — the cheese slumps and the pears soften.
4
Scatter over the chopped nuts, arrange the baguette slices around and dry them for 5 more minutes at 180 °C (356 °F).
5
Serve straight away: dip the bread in the melted cheese and chase it with pear.
