Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Mushroom Skewers

Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Mushroom Skewers

35 min

An appetizer for a crowd: mushroom caps with a meat filling, each wrapped in a strip of bacon and threaded onto skewers. The bacon tightens as it cooks and holds everything together, and Parmesan goes over the top.

Ingredients

4 servings
Champignon mushrooms(large)12 pcs
Ground beef300 g
Garlic(finely chopped)2 cloves
Bacon12 strips
Parmesan(grated)30 g
Meat seasoning1 tsp
Salt0.5 tsp
Ground black pepper0.5 tsp

Instructions

1
Twist the stems out of the mushrooms. Finely chop the stems together with the garlic.
2
Mix the ground beef with the chopped stems and garlic, season with salt, pepper and the meat seasoning, and knead well.
3
Pack the caps firmly with the filling, mounded slightly.
4
Wrap each mushroom in a strip of bacon and thread three onto each wooden skewer.
5
Lay the skewers in the basket in a single layer and cook at 180 °C (356 °F) for 20 minutes, turning once.
6
Move the skewers to a platter and shower with grated Parmesan.
💡Tip
Soak the skewers
Ten minutes in water keeps the wood from scorching in the hot air.
